So CA Marine Aq Soc Meeting May 19

good job Lee in getting the word out.

when and where is the Steering Committee Meeting this month?

For simplicity, I duplicate your post below:

So CA Marine Aq Soc Meeting May 19
The Southern California Marine Aquarium Society (SCMAS) meets every third Friday of the month at 7:00 PM in Santa Ana at the IHOP restaurant at 1001 E. 17th. St., one block east of the 5 Freeway.

A map is available here at the SCMAS website:
http://www.scmas.org/

You get a listing of events if you click on the very small link: "Click here for more events." Bookmark this site so you can check it out for event announcements.

The next meeting is on Friday, May 19th at 7:00 p.m. Location map is available from the above site. We meet at an IHOP and enjoy dinner or a dessert together, so come early!

The meeting will feature a review of some of the member's tanks that were seen on the most recent tank tour, and a presentation on:
Fish Health through Proper Nutrition.

The presentation is based upon this post:
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/s...threadid=785228

Mark your calendar now and plan to attend on the 19th. People and members attend our meetings from as far south as San Diego, as far north as Ventura County (north of Los Angeles) and as far east as the Inland Empire. So, you're really not that far away!

Following the presentation, there will be our monthly raffle of donated livestock and dry goods. We have many fine local area sponsors to the Society's efforts.

You don't have to be a member to attend this meeting, the presentation, or raffle. We'd like to invite you to attend and exchange and share the experience, fun and comradery of being with people who enjoy the marine aquarium hobby, whether you have a FO tank or full reef tank, using any system and equipment.

Lee,

Are you going to give us your secrete frozen food receipe?? Gelation plus xxx, xxx, xxx equals awesome fish.

I'll share, but it's really not much of a secret. Different ingredients for different fishes.

If you take in the presentation, you'll know first hand what to put into your customized recipe. :)

Is the presentation going to include a demo?

"BAM! you throw in a little raw shrimp! then BAM! some seaweed for color! and grind, grind, grind!"

maybe Galagher style with a big mallet and clams with the first few rows wearing rain ponchos would be very entertaining!

looking forward to your presentation Lee.
