So, could a anenome from Petco give my clown Brook?

I placed it in last week, this morning I noticed white fuzzy material on his tail and top fin.

I have also been treating my DT Prazipro, added Wed morning standard dosage per instructions. for internal parasites. She had an extended abdomen along with other fish in the DT in addition to stringy poop while being fed a varied diet.

Lastly, last night I started Seachem Focus + Metro per instructions added to mysis again for intestinal parasites.

My parameters are generally really good, salinity 1.025, corals look fine, etc. My skimmer has been off since Wed, for the Prazi.

White & fuzzy doesn't sound like ich. Fuzzy usually indicates fungus, but fungal infections are rare in marine fish. Whit lumpy stuff is lymphocytes, a virus that is no big deal.

A pic will help, but everyone should do reading and research so they can identify common parasites/diseases. There are parasites, like velvet & brooklynella, that will kill your fish before you can post a pic and wait for an ID.

Last night, tail was clean. Is an anenome sting also possible? They haven't been hosted yet.

I don't think its Ich either, but progressing quickly white, fuzzy... more on one side of the tail, but extending to top fin and rear fin.

How long have you add the clown? Was it quarantined before adding to the main? Hard to tell from the pic but that white spot on the tail is too big for ich. Does the spot look more cottony or like a pimple?

Either the picture isnt showing the problem well or it's quite minor. I would suggest to keep water quality high and feed well. Use fish solution to boost its immune system.

White spot on the tail is main area around 3mm diameter, more fuzzy than a defined area like a pimple. The fish(clowns) has been in the DT since early December after about a month quarantine. I think one of them has had internal parasites since then but wasn't sure until recently. Hence, now I'm treating the entire display since more fish showed signs.

Both clowns are tank bred, the bigger one has the spot. Swimming around fine, maybe slightly labored breathing but she likes to surf the strong current.

That large and fuzzy sounds like lympho. What are treating the tank with? Have you added anything to the main since the clowns without quarantining it?

I added a yellow kole tang after 3-4 week quarantine including tank transfer and prazi treatment. About 10 days earlier. Looking at him throughout the day, hasn't changed much. I'm not panicked about the majors anymore.

So if it's lymph, viral, let it resolve itself? Also, how long would you keep feeding metro for intestinal parasites?

Running the skimmer now first Prazi dose finished. Also feeding metro for the internals still. Keep going on more Prazi also?
