So, I got these zoa frags

Very pretty pieces. However, most of them came attached to some very fugly frag discs.
How do you all handle this?
Just glue the ugliness down and wait for them to over grow it?
Do you cut them off the plug and glue them to your rock?

Just looking for options and opinions

They will grow over the ugliness
Or you can peel them off the disc by there matting

I just glue them down anyways.. Either coralline or the corals will cover it eventually.

don't cut off of the plugs. just place them somewhere and wait for growth

Trust me, if things are all good that plug will be covered in no time at all.

It depends on how long the zoas have been on the plug IMO, by that I mean if the zoas have had a chance to grow onto the plug then I just glue down the plug, however ifthe zoas are on a piece of rubble glued to the plug then I usually break the rubble free of the plug and glue it to a rock in my tank.
