I saw them earlier today for the first time and have been doing alot of research about using Interceptor to clear it up. Has anybody here used it and if so, do you have any tips ?

i treated my tank about 2 months ago with intercepter for red bugs. it killed 2 of my shrimp and a couple of hermits. i didnt have another tank to put them in. i used half of the dose i read about online to try to save some of my inverts. i only treated my tank once and i havent seen any since then.

They are not that hard to treat with interceptor. I treated my tank a few weeks ago and no more red bugs so far. You have to take out all of your snails and inverts or they will be dead. I just took a rubermaid and setup a holding tank for all my snails and inverts. Interceptor knocks them out and the corals that had them will open right back up.

I treated mine once with the recommended dose and the I treated again a week later with a double dose. I didnt see very many in the first place but for me better safe than sorry. Been several weeks now and havent seen any since.

Rick, I've treated 2X and the bugs are gone, The snails will do fine some shrimp will also live (My Pistol made it) But Hermit crabs will all die, Some right away and the rest in time.
Bill:)

Thx Ill let you know how it goes. On the bright side my wife is a vet tech and she can get me some interceptor anytime I want

Definitely follow the dosages and don't forget carbon and water changes afterward. :)

Its super easy and works perfectly! I did have one, lone hermit survive... ha!
