So, I have this coat, that needs a patch...

Most of you know my story because I have over shared.... My employer was a jerk. I left. I left with this nice coat I got after 5 years, any way, it's nice, double layered, and has this embroidery on it. I was thinking of covering it up with a Reef Related patch...

Dose anyone know a a reef related org that has a patch that I could show my support? and lack of support for my former employer?

Ha, ha, ha.... I use my 5 year jacket when I do oil changes and my 10 year watch is only engraved on the back side... no patch required. Try searching ebay, put an 'IT' patch over the quarry's logo.

I'm pretty sure you can get a logo place that does embroidery to put any patch you want together (for a price). I haven't seen any "stock" patches with reef related logos on them but I'll keep an eye out. How about a patch from the Atlanta Aquarium (I know someone whos heading that way in a week).

Jason, I don't know of a reef patch, but I think it's funny. I use my old employers coat for a cat bed, and the shirts (really nice dress shirts) for shop rags.

There are places that will make up patches, perhaps you could get one made for FVRC, probably pretty cheaply. If they need to get them done in bulk, I bet there are plenty of others who would buy one. Just a thought...

For a while I lived next to a guy that worked at the paper mill next to me. He gave me a hat he got from his employer. I wore it proudly at my mill for about two years. Then I got married and had to start towing the line.

Lets just say I wish I still had that hat. Just read my occupation.

Lots of guys put packer patches on the jackets they give us at work.
 
Wow!!!! I didn't know you quit your job, sure seems to be allot of good wifeys in this club or is it wifeys with very good jobs. So what are you going to be when you get out of school. Guess I am just jealous. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Def, need to get the Brownie Scouts badge. Make sure you download the instruction sheet for earning the badge and have an adult sign-off on your Brownie assignment.
 
Had you considered not putting a patch over it? then you could act like a jerk all the while promoting your bosses franchise. I recommend cutting people off on the highway and then pointing to the logo while flipping the bird, or getting sloppy drunk and starting fights while pointing to the logo...
there's lots of ideas there... especially if you go to his competitors and act like a real jerk.
Just a thought...
 
Thought about it, but I don't want to sink to his level... don't know, that might even be above his level yet.

I thought about a button, then remembered the last time I tore a hole in a coat. Oh well.

Mike. I can get quite nasty. Mean is easy. Being nice is hard. I'm trying to be nice about it. Even though I've lready reported him to OSHA and a few other Agencies. :D
