Put my telephoto (ef-s 75-300mm) on my camera and held my EF-S 18-55mm 'face to face' against attached lens.
One of the few corals that was close enough to the front of the tank was my red Montipora capricornis. I'm pretty sure you can see zooxanthellae in this one: http://i.imgur.com/0OPRiCe.jpg

Keep in mind that i can only shoot objects a few inches away and have zero depth of field. I am still playing with lens combos.
