Depends where you get it from. If it comes from a tank that has ever seen ich then QT it for 72 days without question. Also kinda depends on how paranoid/serious you are about not dealing with ich. If I were you 72 days but that's just me

I would love to know what tomonts can/cannot encyst upon. I mean, we all know they can stick to rock... but what about chaeto? Free swimmers aka theronts can be "washed away" but you have to be pretty thorough about it.
