So many questions, so little time!

Hi all!
I have many questions, please be patient, any help would be appreciated! I'm looking to set up a 29g mixed reef. My only other experience with nanos was a 10g invert only with a penguin filter and NO floros.
For this tank I want to use probably a 175w sunpod. I want to keep maybe two or three fish, a cleaner shrimp, an anemone, softies, LPS, a few SPS, and maybe a clam. What kind of skimmer works well for this kind of tank? I want to use some kind of H.O.B. model as I will probably not have a sump. Also, how about powerheads, how much flow do I need?

And last (for now) but not least, what effect should any of this have on my electric bill?

I'm really anxious to get back into the hobby, but on a tight budget, any feedback greatly appreciated!

1. I would go with the remora hob skimmer or u could go with the cpr hob refugium with the skimmer built into it. (that would kill 2 birds with 1 stone...)

2. I think that when the anenome starts to move around he might sting and kill a bunch of your corals if touched..

3. I don't c a difference in my electric bill and i have about the same size with MH lights..It might go up maybe 10.00 if that.

good luck to ya..:D

okay first i would go with a hob cpr bak pak, great little skimmer for the price. i would have a fluval filter or something else like that if you are going to go "sumpless". also 2 maxi jet 1200's would probably be okay. electric might go up 5-10 bucks but i am not even sure. you want at least 10-20 times and hour, more is better. 29x10=290gph
2 mj 1200's will give you 600gph. hth.

Thanks so much for the help!
Souleman, I already thought about the cpr fuge, glad to hear I may be on the right track.

jski711, I have to ask, did you take a pic of that avatar, or just find it somewhere? That is one irritated looking cat!
