no problem with him moving, just trying to find the right home.
Very beautiful anemone, if you don't mind me asking where did you purchase it?

aquatropcis in florida. was 90 dollars.
you guys dont think hes dyed do yah?

he kinda looks like a clam like that... wedged between the rock and the glass...

crap i gotta goto work!!!

freaking this is why i dont look at my tank before work,... i get sucked in .. lol

thanx for the advice GSMguy .. your awesome!@

hmmm that tank looks like its way to new! not a good idea to put in an anenome in a tank that looks like its still cycling!! keep an eye out [gaping mouth/moving anenome]

Just move the rock so your red haddoni can get more room. I can't imagine it being very happy in that situation. It is all cramped up in the spot. They need to spread out where they can get flow and better lighting. Its probably really stressed out. I would move the rock and do a 20 percent water change and run carbon.

i just did a 20 gallon water addition ( not a change but upgraded my sump from holding about 7 gallons to holding about 25 or so. ) about a week ago.. think a 20 percent would be a good idea ? im almost afraid to move that rock and see my dead six line =(

trust me. its all eyes on the nem... he ate my sixline wrasse today =(

ah sixline should be last fish in the tank anyway they are terrors

terrors? ? how so? whats a good fish list for a 40 breeder?
going to eventully turn it into an SPS on the top half of the tank and softies on teh bottem.

so far have a blue damsel and a diamond back goby + a tomato clown ( which will be changed out as soon as i can find a decent set of clowns that will host in the haddoni )

they are territorial kill fish much larger than them
i hate damnsels so i would take it out they always turn into meanies

wrasses and green reef chromis work allright shrimp gobys

green reef chromies are on my list of fish to get. thinking about 3 of them.
my sand sifting goby
. and a pair of clowns
and a lawnmower blenny
.. that sounds like alot for a 40 or just about on the limit..? its a breeder tank so decent sized foot print.
do the green reef chromis get mean like the damsels?

so .. lets take a poll.. do i move that rock he moved himself behind or let him be for another night see what happens?
