Whats wrong with my Mystery wrasse? I've never noticed but all of a sudden he's FAT!!! His belly is really big!!! Does he look ok? I mean the underside of him has a bulge----is he constipated?

Mine looks exactly the same, particularly after feeding. I was worried at first. The 'internal parasite' alarm bell was ringing.
However, 6 months down the line he is fat and healthy so nothing to worry about.

Should be fine.

If they eat a lot and lose weight, it is almost a certain bet on internal parasites. If they get fat, there is no issue.

he eats a lot!! My most favorite fish in the tank---he is very active.

are you missing any small fish or shrimp! thats what usually happens to the ones at the store I work at when we feed ghost shrimp and guppies

It does seem to be gorged, but I wouldnt worry if it's keeping weight on.

Mine devoured 4 sexy shrimp within two days!!
