So who else has a vicious ocellaris?

I've got a pair of unmated Ocellaris clowns in my 25G who have the tank all to themselves. After a few months the bigger of the two, who I assume is a female because of her size and behavior, attacks me constantly whenever I need to do something in the tank. Most of the time it doesn't hurt but constant pinching ain't cool when your doing something delicate like gluing a frag lol

ye mine is the same...and if i have anything in my hand...she'll bite it, doesnt matter what it is shes gonna bite it lol..i love her though

Mine don't bite, they nibble, because I think they now that if they they do that, they get food. And it is so funny because now they have taught my powder brown tang to do the same thing.

My picasso perc does not like my had at all (swims away)yet, but she has only been in the tank for about two weeks.

i used to until i sold the tank to my friend

he said the male jumped out of the tank and died, and now she picks on the poor clown goby in the tank. she bit a chunk out of his dorsal fin :[ she terrorizes the goby and terrorizes anyone who comes by the tank or sticks their hand inside

I have to put food in the tank t distract my blk ocellaris in order to do anything!

Sounds like a sixline I had, never seen a clown that bad though. Is it an oscellaris?

Both my gold strip maroons attack me at the same time. When they get to be fully grown, I doubt I'll be able to reach in the tank without some kind of protective glove!

Yup. Mine doesnt like it when I clean the tank. However my pair just laid eggs I think she will step up the aggressiveness. Btw I need link on how to take care of the eggs.

mine is absolutely fine with all of her tank mates and has been since day one ; even tossed in another baby ocellaris for her to pair with. not even a tail slap. but i stick my hand in there and everything i do she finds offensive...

Yeah, no kiddin! I always thought they don't usually get that way unless they're breeding. I thought wrong

Mine are fine, infact, all of my fish are very peaceful, and have never made an attempt at hurting me.
