ha ha ha ha that's funny. Mr. Fish, Mr. Cat, Mr. Dog.......

Mr. Me :)

She also has bettas named princess and pinky-bo-bo. And an ugly goldfish that cost me $35 named noggin.

When you have fish natively called stonogobiops nematodes, and you have 3 of them, bet your sweet bippy we name 'em. There's Raspberry, there's Teacake, and the big female may be re-named Poundcake, since she'd borrowed Teacake's name while Teacake was lost in the sump---but found yesterday!

We also have four bristleworms named Sam, Fred, Barney, and George.

Yellow Tang - Pootie
Royal Gramma - Louis
Clownfish - Mork & Mindy
Sixline - Nicky
3 clown gobies (only seen 2 of them after put in tank) named the 3 stooges also...

I'd have never named any of my fish if my wife hadn't have decided to name them

I've had a flame angel named Liberace and a pair of PJ Cardinals named Tango & Cash...

I named our goldfish at first, "F'ing expensive", but the fiance' won and got to name it noggin.

I still like the name "F'ing Expensive" becuase goldfish should not cost that much unless it's a koi from Japan.

It's one of those stupid fancy goldfish. I wish to rid myself of it. Along with her chiclids.

ha ha ha that's funny too.

Actually, I have a bristle worm I call fatty. It's about a foot long and as wide as my little finger.

I forgot, our conch snail is named scooter and our olive snail is named Oliver; I know, real original huh.

Classic!

Purple Tang: Louie (Cause I drove round trip one day to St. Louis to pick him up)

Nano Cube:
Red Leg Crabs: Turbo Tanks
Red Firefish: Obi Wan
Red Firefish: Anakin
Mystery Wrasse: Mustifar

Can you tell the Nano Cube belongs to the 6 year old who loves Star Wars?

I only named one fish. My beloved late blue tang. "she" was named bluey. Had her for 4 years and then she died. I was crushed. I will never name another fish again. Don't name don't get attached is how I feel now.

Blue tang=blue tang
six line wrasse=six line wrasse
3 cardinal fish=3 cardinal fish
purple pseudochromis=purple pseudochromis
... you get the picture

But you're supposed to get attached. Go ahead. Call one George. That's easiest. And you just realize their lifespans are shorter than ours, is all. You fight for 'em as you can, and sometimes you just lose one. Name it the same, and try not to lose the next.

I agree with sk8r there a bit... it's definitely a bummer to see any organism expire in an unnatural manner. It usually just makes me feel dumb and that I wasted money - I've four firefish (also stooges names - including schemp!) jump out in less than 3 weeks... I've lost two wrasses - a sixline named nicky and a yellow coris wrasse named big bird all die of carpet surfing realted deaths.
The other deaths in my tank have been "taken care of" by my clean-up crews. I don't feel so bad if I know my detrivores got a good feast :bum:
But the only time the pain was felt in my heart instead of my wallet  was when I ordered a pair of perculas (and they were TINY). I went to feed them (they knew a feeding was coming), got the food from the freezer - they were gone.... After 5 min or so of looking, to my horror, both were stuck in the intake of my MJ1200 - quickly turned off my pump - no luck - they were el-dead-a-rino. I felt a slight tingling between my eyebrows and my nose intched - yup I watered up! What a wuss I am! Mork and Mindy ver2 are still missed! Mork and Mindy ver3 (false percs) just don't compare...
