YAH!! just finnished reading part I... god that took forever lol been at it for 2 weeks /sigh thank you so much WK you answered a crapload of my questions! (although ill probably have more onced i finnish reading part 2 /sigh... thanks!!!

With some of the lighting systems I've seen out there, you could take that comment pretty literally.

Glad this thread got a bump, though. I learned quite a bit reading this one.

Holy wow. Great information, everyone. Just about to get into this SW thing - going to get a 55 gal and do FOWLR for a start, and plan for future expansion to coral (add a sump, better lights, etc.) once everything's nice and stable and the sticker shock's worn off.
 
Wow, it lives! I didn't even realize I was still following this thread. Waterkeeper, are you still out there? I think I have a question about Reverse Undergravel Filters.
