that's too bad. You were ready to pay in full too.

I stopped in for a personal visit several months back and they had this sweet 400 on the workbench. Amazing acrylic work.

Unfortunately, unless something has changed, they are only a 2-person operation with Steve handling the bulk of the acrylic work and Randy fabricating the wood and steel stands along with taking care of all the internet duties.

Sounds like like that are way overdue to hire themselves a sweet little college hottie to start answering their phones for them. I know I'd be way more inclined to drop in for another visit if they did.

Those measurements are pretty close to what i want. I was looking towards a 30x24x20, eurobraced as well. I totally understand what your talking about with the light towards the rear and have the empty front darker(like you said-a dropoff). Very interesting. I have a 20" sunpod that im considering hanging over the tank. I had it on my 24g NC and i sold that and kept the sunpod. Still uncertain about the lighting though. As of right now im getting the stand made 30x24x36h by Kc in San Dimas.

I'm deciding on whether a 36x20x20 or a 36x24x20 eurobraced. I have a recessed wall in the livingroom that used to be a closet that measures 58" long x 30" deep x 8' high that was converted to a little cove for my current set up. I currently have a 40G Uniquarium that's been running a reef for the past 6 yrs. I'm pretty much tired of dealing with that set up as I've been wanting a sump under the tank for the longest time. The tank is also bowing in the front now and I'm tired of looking at it. I'm replacing all the equipment except the lighting fixture (36" Sunpod 2x150w MH) I need to keep the length of the tank at 36" to be able to use my lighting and to be able to accomodate my chiller and auto top off system on the side of the tank.

I think i'm leaning towards the 24" depth. I want to try to do my rocks in the back and try to leave as much empty space towards the front so that sand stars or other sand crawling critters can be observed easily. I'm also wanting that space as sort of a shadey zone if I hang my lights directly over my rock work, it'll create sort of a drop off in light intesity to create a deeper water effect compared to the rock work. Hmm did that make any sense? LoL

What's your measurements going to be?

I got my quote back for a friends tank in about 20 minutes... but this was a few weeks ago.
