Sock during Cycle

Hey RC Peeps. I am going to start my tanks cycle tomorrow. before I do am I to use filter socks? I have 200 micron socks. This is the only uncertainty I have about the cycle Thanks for your input.

You can if you want.. It will just help capture sand particles,etc...
Many don't run socks at all as its just another maintenance chore and really doesn't serve much purpose (except removing fine particulate from the water so its not so visible)..
Others let those particles float around freely as it can/is food for corals,etc...
