I have a soft leather tree coral in my tank (been in here for about two months), it was doing fabulous, see the first couple of pictures, but then last week it started looking sad. I have it near a rock, it gets plenty of light and flow. It started bending 90 degrees and has put its "branches" under a rock. I turned it around once, just to see what would happen and it did it again. This morning it started changing colors slightly, with what looks like it might be shedding its skin. The water was crystal clear up until this morning as well, it is now slightly cloudy.
I also have a bubble tip anemone, a zoa colony and a candy cane coral that are all doing perfectly.
BioCube 32, MaxSpect R420R lighting, 8.4 Ph, 1.025 salinity, 0 nitrites, 0 phosphate, 0 nitrate, 1350 magnesium, 440 calcium
I have posted pictures so you can see a time line of the progression.
