Sohal-side of orange back body by before tail fin....

Sohol doing great, noticed, what seems to be very small vertical scratches, on one side of body, guessing from rock, and I also see the area, on the side, where there bit of orange is, on one side it is raised, almost looks like a piece of needle sticking out, I do believe one of my large blue hippos had that, when it seemed he had ich or something else, but all cleared up, inclusive of the area, close to the location pertruding on the side. Is this some type of fungus , or lateral line simptum, as mentioned happened a couple of times on one large blue hippo, but went away on its own, rest of the sohal looks great, colors are even more prominent now. I know I could never get a shot, always buzzing around.

Seems like the piece sticking out, looking like a needle or bone, is starting, to go back, closing to it body....no responses?

sounds like maybe an injury from live rock coral anything like that i wouldnt worry the needle like peice stiking out is prob a scale it will fix its self

Yes, thanks, seems like it is already flattening out. I do see some small vertical marks, guessing from rock, but no discoloration, will let it be, want to avoid using any meds.
