Just wanted to compare my Sohal to some others. For some reason mine isnt that bright colored yet , maybe that will change with a good diet. He's about 5-6 inches and keeps everything in line in the tank. Ill get a picture in a bit....

do you think his lines will straighten out with age?

No not really, they stay and look pretty much the same as in the picture, just bigger. I had one a few years ago that was a least 12-13".

I always thought thier colors start to fade , but i could be wrong.
I have 8-9" sohol and eats everything. But does look like some of his colors have faded with age.

i'm impressed at how great your sohal looks -- is it in the 180? does the lack of length stress him out? any suggestions?

Here is one more.

To my anguish, I had a power outage on fathers day and lost this guy (along with the rest of my fish and 1/2 my corals).

I had plans to move him to a 5000 show tank at my lfs the same week. He was ok in the 180. Great color and not aggressive. It did look like it was time though.. he did need more space.

oh - and suggestions.. Just a varied diet. (He ate everything, and out of my hand too )
