I'm definitely getting skim in the neck and a bit of water in the cup but never the foam I see others getting from better skimmers. Maybe I'm stressing too much.

Has anyone tried the media basket at mediabaskets.com? I was thinking of getting one and putting a gfo and gac each one if different media bags and putting them in the basket. Would this be a good thing or running 2 reactors for gac and gfo work better? I guess saving on putting 2 extra pumps in the back for reactors would be a nice thing.
This is what I'm thinking:

Sagz70 - you need a 1/2" OD elbow. No idea of where to get one but you might need to email the maker directly.
prettyfishy76 - i was in your position as well, i went with the Tunze 9002 with InTank upgraded collection cup. It fits great but I am having trouble dialing it. Last night was the first time I had some skim in the cup, so maybe it was breaking in![]()
Well, Here's my Solana. Owned it since they came out years ago, only put water in it last month. I am downsizing from my 60g shallow tank.

I just finish cycling it with dead shrimp, a little ammonia and Dr Tims one and only.
Here's the plan:
Filtering -
1st chamber - Filled with rubble, 100w heater and AquaC Remora-S Skimmer with Maxi-jet 1200
2nd chamber - InTank Media Basket with, Top- Filter Pad, Middle - Purigen, Bottom - Chemi-Pure Elite
3rd chamber - Return Pump and some more rubble.
Flow - Ecotech Vortech MP10, once transfer complete from old tank
Light - Kessil LED a350w, once transfer complete from old tank
ATO - Optical Sensor, Made by me, 5 Gallon water tank in cabinet
Rock - Bulk reef supply, glued together with 2 part reef epoxy.
Fish - GSM Maroon and BTA, maybe a goby.
Coral - I really only want one or two really large colonies. I'm not sure what exactly will do good under the LED.
