I have a Cardiff with the 50s hair dryer light and really like the look of it. This will be primarilly a SPS LPS tank. Most of the SPs and Acans are coming out of the 12 gallon JBJ which they are out growing. I used to have the JBJ on my desk at work. I am working on building a curved sump for the Cardiff to take maximum advantage of the space available.
The glass is a bit harder to clean, but nothing insurmountable. I use the Kent pro scraper myself, but you do have to get your hands wet to clean the front glass.

Where can I find one of these? What product would I search for? Is this working well for you still? I'm also curious about the kalk. Are you using that as the topoff? My tanks hasn't came in yet, and I need to know what size the return nozzles are. There are some 3/4" velocity accellerator return nozzles I can get for real cheap, but I don't know what siz ethe solana return nozzles are......anyone ?

Has anyone fit a Deltec MCE300 or 600 in their tank? Pictures?
I'm away from my empty tank for another 3 months but I was wondering if the deltecs would fit inside the back chamber?
Also, could someone be kind enough to post the dimensions of the middle chamber for me? Thanks!

The middle chamber it is 4 7/8 wide and 4 1/8 deep. Also note that the middle chamber has different heights on the sides. The side shared with the 3rd chamber is same height as the entire back of the tank. The side that is shared with the 1st chamber is 6 1/8 below the top of the back wall.

Anyone, would this fit in the back:
10.25" wide, 3.34" width, height looks like ~16.75" (not all of which is in the water)

Nope, 4 7/8. Although, I think the Deltec skimmer would fit, but the intake would probably be in the first chamber, and return in the second.

I was not happy with stability of the stock stand. I purchased the Lee-Mar Solana stand that is made for this tank and it is very solid compared to the stock stand.

Received my vortech and also added sandbed. No glass top temp stable at 78-79 with a hamilton 250watt pendant.

Thats a med cpr fuge with mud, cheato and some small pieces of lr. I have some snails a perpermint and some bluelegs in the fuge . I believe in a mud type system(fuge) for any sps setups big or small.
