i think the micro bubbles are from the skimmer trying to break in.. give it a couple of days and itll go away

hello everyone. i just got my solana. i ordered a aqua medic 250w pendant today. i really dislike the stock skimmer and will probably get the tunze nano. as far as ato systems go i will be getting that it looks like aswell. for all of you who are using 250w what the temp of you're water. more pics would be great.

your gonna need at least one fan... my temp stays at 80 with 10 hrs of 250de 20k on a lumenmax reflector

What temperature do you run the house?

I've had temp troubles before even without MH lighting, but the house would get 80F in the middle of summer (older house, older a/c) so it took very little to push the tank into the mid to upper 80s... ended up having to run my lighting at night so there was minimal heat added during the hottest part of the day

my ac is set to turn on at 82 and my lights turn on at 2pm till midnight..
my house is fairly cool even on a hot day but it helps the tank is in the bottom floor of a three level house... it has been 90's around here lately and still no need for my chiller so its looking good

hey guys i just ordered a tunze nano skimmer a tunze nanostream 6055 with controlle as well as a ato system. just waiting for all the goodies light will still be about a week. as soon as i get everything i will stock up on coral and some fish. will post pics when this happens.

the one that is pictured is a japanese micromussa... the rainbow in the back is a acan ... i have a fairly large colony of both and had to make frags for my mini baby:rollface:
