Hello, it's been a while since I have posted on here so I figured I'd post a couple pictures and see if anyone had similar zoo's!

These are easy to identify, but by all means let me know if you don't agree!

Wicked Blues with Solar Eagle Eyes: Note the yellow on the fringes of the blues, kinda neat!

Variable Stars

Sunflower Blues: The blue outer edge shooting into the yellow really sets the yellow off!

Yellow Dwarf Star: These aren't just immature Variable Stars, they have a nice vibrant yellow disc with an alternating yellow/pink fringe.

My Tank is a 40 gallon breeder with 6 x T5's running off of an IC660. I tried to balance out the WB with Aperture, but I couldn't get all the blue out!

Cheers,
Scott

Scott,
true, you haven't been here for a while my friend. sweet pieces there. Love that last polyp.

You canadian's always manage to get some nice stuff sometimes ahead of us yanks.

charles-

How can I get a hand on some of those frags. I want them so bad its not even cool.

PS: It seems like everyone in here have better Zoas than me, and I don't think its fair..........I'm just saying, share the wealth :)

Everything except the Wicked blues and Solar eagle eyes were from my LFS. The other two are from wickedcorals out of Ontario.

I really like the sunflower blues. They don't strike you at first but once you look at the central disk a little longer the interlaced blue and yellow really catch your eye.

I always say I am going to frag, but I always want to let them grow out just a little bit more haahaa!

Awesome looking zoas! The names give me a headache though.

Haahaa, I don't disagree with you but it's easier to identify them to someone than just saying "well.. there is some orange on the outside with a little bit of bright blue inside of that and a green mouth area... oh yeah, they are a fatter squat type of polyp not the long stalk with the long fringe".

Giving someone a name to go check on coralpedia is much easier, that is if the coral in question is on coralpedia.

wickedcorals that's what I fugured. too bad they can't ship here to cali. they got some sweet pieces.

It's not a big pain to ship zoanthids, as long as they aren't attached to live rock and you've obtained the necessary paperwork from USFWS. They DO NOT require CITES permits.

That I know, I just think taking the zoanthids off the rock including shipment is a lot of stress and trauma to the coral.

I lost a lot of deepwaters that were shipped in that method of removal of all rock from their base to comply with cites. But they do have some great corals there.

Those Zoo's are stunning! Amazing color on them all! I can't wait to get a tank up and running so I can start collecting some of these baby's myself! To bad WickedCorals doesn't ship out here.

Only the first two images are from Wickedcorals, the rest are from my LFS. So get out to your LFS and hunt for those gems!

Scott my friend , you need to post more of your collection as I know you have a vibrant array of beautifully colored polyps.
