Solar wrasse, looking to add

I have a 29g tank, 10g sump, cheato fuge and an SC-65 skimmer.

Current fish are a midas blenny, ocellaris clown, and a tangaroa goby.

Thinking about other fish to add, and thought that solar wrasse would add a bit more color to my tank.

Do you think the solar wrasse will be ok in this tank?

Also planning on adding a blue or spotted mandarin to the tank.

They are a bit big for a 29 gal and need more room that than.

The mandarin will need plenty of pods to eat...try to pickup an ORA tank bred one if possible as I've seen they do better.

i've heard it dosn't really matter if they are from ora. just more $$$

what other wrasses do you recomend then? look for a fish with different colors than a blue mandarin and not particullary orange..

Most of the nicer fairies like to swim so they require a larger tank. You could, however, look into a Possum wrasse or a Six Line Wrasse. The Six Line is aggressive towards any other wrasse so be careful with that one.

I agree with both recommendations. I love possum wrasses!!

possums are great! if you want a fairy that stays small maybe a lubbocks would work (they have some cool color patterns)
