Solarensis Wrasse Question

I have a 3" or so Solarensis (aka Solar, aka Painted, aka Clown Fairy) Wrasse. It is looking female. Gorgeous fish. I want a male too. I have two options that I can see:

1. Get a small juvenile. What are the odds it (or this one) will go male?

2. Get a male roughly the same size as the one I have. I found one for a great price, beautiful specimen. Would this be stupid? Will they fight to the death if they are the same size?

Females have always been a little more aggressive than the males for me. I've had better luck adding a more similar sized male. This is just my experience.

Maybe aggressive was the wrong word.... Territorial, dominent, assertive? Maybe assertive.
