solid purple lines by Gig verracue?

So just did a little bit of rock rearranging (slightly) but my purple gig is no longer vertical anymore and I believe it looks much happier in its new spot.. While I was doing this, I was admiring the very purple verracue all on the underside, but at one point, there are several solid purple lines with no verracue (dot ones at least) in between, just several solid purple lines 1-3" inches long.

Is this normal? I never noticed this until just now..

Sure, I can absolutely try.. This new spot makes it easier to show off the backside of the pedal. I just looked again here a bit ago and there are dots in between one of the solid purple lines.. I couldn't see solid lines anywhere else on the pedal though, just this one area... Not the best but you get the idea... I found another little patch just like this one on the other side opposite of this one..

The only time i have seen this is on mertens and gig is when there has been an injury.

This is not one of the cut ones.. Not as far as I can see or have known.. There's no visible cuts anywhere on this guy.

After moving my rockwork a little yesterday it must have changed the flow pattern enough because my green gig has moved to the back of the island he was on. Literally same spot, just back side of the rock.

Nope, looks like the same color as the rest of the pedal... is that what you're asking?

Usually when there in an injury to the underside of an anemone you see stuff like this where is heals. The "skin" that grows back is usually lacking color.

I wouldn't really worry about it unless you see any changes or problems.

Yea there aren't any issues, this guy is HUGE just never seen those solid lines before.

I think theseare jus long verracue. I got elogated verracue on my Giganteas but not long purple line verracue like your's

Interesting.. the pictures don't even do it justice, some of the lines are relatively think and real bright. Don't know why they are there, but either way real cool to look at.
