Solid white mushrooms...NOT FOR SALE!!!!

I now have 6 solid white mushrooms.. I started with 2 and began propagating....I have 3 under 10000k halides, and the other three under 20000k halides..No color chang in the last three months that I have had them...They just popped up out of a peice of live rock.....Has this ever happened before, or have I stumbled upon somthing new...Pics available upon request...Serious inquiries only.....I currently keep and propagate over 60 species of corals..and have been if anyone is interested....Bitis316@yahoo.com How do I post the pictures...They are the photo gallery....jw

chances are they're very bleached still, I've seen mushrooms take up to 6 months to eventually color up, but white is simply not a mushroom color in the wild, they all have some form of zooxanthellae that keeps them at least brown, I'd give them some more time to color up
 
Actually, they do not Have to have pigment because of the zooxanthellae, what about pipe organ coral, palm palm xenia,,White leather,,,,I have 8 peices of corals now that are white in my collection...

I now have 12......white a and 1 butter yellow....They are not for sale.thanks though.....maybe in the future....way down the road....I need to know more about them first...
 
6 to 12 in 8 days?? Did you cut it or something?? If so that would only take only 15 minutes or so :D ..
 
No, I found more in my big tank....They are very small around 3/4" or so,, and keep popping up off of the mother rock. There are 5 very small babies beside the main mother wich is about 4" across....I also have 6 in one of my smaller tanks on a rock with 1 red shroom.....The only pic I have now of that is a night pic.....here....I really don't care if people beleive me....I got em..And thats all that counts....Their not for sale anyway....I was just showing them out.....thanks
