Most A. Percs I see that are listed as being from the Solomon Islands seem to have more black on them then your typical perc, usually w/ black stretching from one bar to the next on 1 or more bars. Is this very typical, or something that's an occasional thing? I'm thinking now I'd like to get some of these if I could get some w/ a lot of black, not totally onyx, but just orange/black. But since I don't live near an LFS, I have to mail order everything... main question, how typical is the great black coloration in Solomon Island Percs?

I have seen a lot of Solomon Island percs that have no black at all and are difficult to tell from ocellaris. The location of the collection is not an indicator of the amount of black. (The type of anemone they were associated with may be though).
Your best bet is to ask for a picture before you order.

Thanks Phil. I have an email into the MO place, but I'm going to order tiny ones that say "up to 3/4"" , so my best question I could come up with was, "do the others in this batch that are bigger have a lot of black on them?" But I'll see if I can get pics of some of them. They're going into a 10g nano, so that's why I want to start them really small.
