Solomon Island Zoanthids

A LFS near me has been getting in some INSANE Solomon Island zoanthids lately. Other than the cool colors, is there any difference between these and "regular" zoas? What's the grown rate and where do they prefer to be in the tank? If you've got any SI zoas that you'd like to show off, feel free to do so also :)

Thanks in advance!

There really is nothing as far as genetically different....They may like moreorless flow depending on what the conditions are that they are from....Like Caribbeans like really high light and mod to high flow for best conditions......I would assume they have the same requirements as most zoanthids...

Not my pic but I've seen them in person and they look the same:

I did buy them, but cheaper :D I bought a small frag because as you can imagine, they weren't cheap.

I am also hoping to get these (again, not my pics):

and I bought this one:

Going to get the blues and greens tomorrow. The pics aren't very good, they're MUCH brighter in person :)

I would love to see pics once you get them all settled in. Those are some really vibrant colors.

By the way, where in MO are you located?

Man, those are AWESOME! I especially like the blue with blue ring and pink skirt... They'd look great in my chick tank :D

The white balance is WAY off in this pic, but here they are 5 minutes after putting them in the tank:

Here are the greens and you can see a crazy orange in the upper right getting ready to open as well.

I bought some other insane ones today too...I hope to have eye candy for you all tomorrow :)
