Some chalice questions...

I've go the chalice bug but running into space issues to put any more.

Do they all have the sweeping stinging tenticles at night or only some? I have some hollywood stunner I see them on all the time at night. Also miami hurricane almost always have them out. But I don't really see any on any of my other chalices.

Also can they be close to each other or can one sting another one?

And how are zoas around them? I have some gorrila nipples near my stunner and have seen the stunners stringy stingers on them but they still look fine so I guess they are immune? Or just haven't gotten a bad enough sting yet?

I think all chalices have tenticles but there are definatly some that are worse than others I've also noticed that as frags grow into larger colonies the more aggressive and longer their reach.

One thing I like about mixing zoas and LPS is that zoas can take some abuse especially since they close up at night. However, repeated stinging can cause damage it gives you time to frag or move one of the corals

So as far as chalice to chalice goes? Is it just a matter of one growing over the other or can they sting each other? I've seen a lot of chalice keepers keeping them right next to one another.
