Thank you for your words.
Many foods because I think animals need variety just like we do. Can you imagine eating every day spaghetti...? :hmm4:
And about what to choose, I just wrote down a weekly list, following also the counsels of the producers.

Has this tank ever won TOTM? If not I nominate it here and now.

+1

Stunning.

Thank you as always for the compliments, but I have an awful news...
my tank doesn't exist anymore and if I am able to save some animals I am really happy about. This is the result of one week holiday in France during last summer. Here in Asti, the town where I live in the middle week of August there were strong thunderstorms and despite all the devices I put (UPS etc.) there were two long electric black outs for two following nights. Already after the first the fishes were almost all dead. After the second (which happened the night before my arrival) I let you imagine what I found when I arrived back home. I will never forget! The water was almost black and what had survived the first black out was dying after the second. When I left for France I had the tank I had always dreamt for (or almost) and when I came back I found a putrid pond! All the hours, days and (especially) money spent to have the best I could were flushed down the toilet! That's why after the last pictures I posted on the forum I wrote "˜Game over'.
It is now one week, after some renewals of the tank, that I started again a new adventure with NPS. I will soon post some pictures...

Questa è una tragedia vera e propria!!!!! :eek2:

Luca, your aquarium was a true inspiration, the best I have seen for NPS. Please consider building a new collection. You are too good for us to lose your talents!

Perhaps you will consider purchasing a generator to remove this vulnerability in future.

Thx,

Dave.M

I really hate to hear the bad news. :( I had a power outage once for 5 days straight due to a inland hurricane (Ike). I managed to keep my tank alive using a inverter and used my car as a generator. When i went to work i hooked the pump up to a deep cycle battery. I hope your able to get back to where you left off, your tank was amazing.

The cool thing about having a NPS tank i will not have to worry about lighting on the tank if it ever happens again.

Oh mio Dio, sto male per te. Il tuo carro armato è stato perfetto. Ho avuto crash e la vasca torna sempre meglio. È necessario disporre di pianto, hai avuto la migliore collezione di animali che abbia mai visto.

I am sorry and sad as your tank was am inspiration to me.

So sorry to hear this has happened to you. It was a beautiful tank that I've shown to many people. I'm confident your next one will be better than ever.

Thanks everybody for your words and for your solidarity!
The tank I had gave great satisfactions to me so if I will arrive at the same results (...it will not be so easy...) it would just be fine to me, of course if I get better results I will be much happier!
After a period of darkness, today the new tank has passed its first week of photoperiod (not a complete but a reduced one - increasing). If everything goes at it should, next week I will join the maximum one.

@ Western_reefer:
the DSB was 10 cm high and 60 kg of weight thus composed: 5 kg of Aragonite Korallen-Zucht + 9 kg CaribSea Arag-Alive + 46 kg of coral sand (1-2 mm).

Ciao! After August disaster, here is my new tank after exactly two months from its beginning.
Open for your comments... ;)

Beautiful aquascaping. Very creative with many placed to mount corals. As Slapshot said, Fill it up!

Also, so good to see you back in action. This version of your reef will definitely surpass the last one.

That might be the coolest rockwork I have seen in a long time! Now fill it up!

Thank you for the compliments!
After the disaster, I was not in a hurry and I had time enough to think better on how to organize the rocks in the tank considering also the animals I would like to have and to breed: leaving enough space in the sand, with multiple levels to place the gorgoniae and with enough room for the fishes to swim and move freely.
I changed also the tank. This is bigger than the previous one (130x62x64cm) for a total of 400 liters net.
The repopulation will start with LPS, after with some gorgoniae and let's see if the water of the tank is 'mature' enough...and see what happens.

Ciao! :wavehand:
