Pentax K20d was 700 and the DA* 16-50 lens was 600. its a pricey set up but the kitlens is only about 100 so for the kit you could bet for 800-1000 depending on the vendor.

This is one durable camera. The weatherproofing has been veryuseful here in CR from anything from riding on boats, crossing waterfalls, hiking in rain or dust. ect. the image quality is excellent
