Some dwarf angelfish questions

I've got a few questions about dwarf angelfish. I plan to get a 75 gallon tank within the next few months, and I'm starting to plan for what fish I want. In addition to the angelfish, I plan to keep a pair of ocellaris clowns, a blue chromis, a purple dottyback, possibly a couple of anthias, and a variety of corals.

Anyway, on to the questions:
1. I was planning to get a lemonpeel angel, but I've read that lemonpeels are, by far, the worst angel for a reef tank. Is this true? If so, are yellow (Herald's) angels any better?

2. I can't seem to find much info on black nox angels. How "reef safe" and aggressive are they?

3. Is it possible to keep multiple dwarf angels in a tank this size? I've found a lot of confusing and conflicting info on this. I was thinking of getting a lemonpeel angel and either a cherub or black nox angel if it is possible.

The following are just my experiences/opinions

1) The lemonpeel is only second to a bi-color for being an awful choice for a reef tank. I had a heraldi many many years ago, and from memory it didn't cause any issues.

2) I have a C. deborai (( which until recently was thought of as a blue color morph of C. nox, but is now a separate species )), and it hasn't touched a thing (( though I won't put any fleshy LPS with any dwarf )). That being said, I would count on any dwarf to nip, and be happy if they don't.

3) I used to have 3 dwarfs in my 75 without issue (( lost one when I moved ))

And used to have 3 in my 58 -- now only 2, moved one to another tank with the move.

I think your best bet with dwarfs in a reef tank are with Flame, Coral Beauty, Flameback, and Cherub

Thanks for your replies! I think I'll plan to get a yellow angel and, possibly, a black nox angel.

Todd, how did you introduce your angels to each other? Have you had any additional problems with aggression or coral nipping with them? Also, just wanted to say that your blue angel is gorgeous.

I have 2 in my 60 - a flame and a african flameback pygmy - the pygmy was in first - by several years. There were issues with the flame for a couple weeks - now all seems ok

Todd, how did you introduce your angels to each other? Have you had any additional problems with aggression or coral nipping with them? Also, just wanted to say that your blue angel is gorgeous.

I use an acclimation box, and leave them in there for about a week. No really aggression, besides a chase here and there. IME, all dwarfs nip, its just what they do, but the damage (( excluding to fleshy LPS )) hasn't been all that bad.

All dwarf angels are suspect in a reef tank until you live with them for a while. Dwarfs aren't that aggressive, especially not to members of the species, I'd worry more about the damsel.

they will do much better once the tank is mature, in the 6-12 months range. they spend most of their time grazing the live rock.
