I have a 52 gal, and a camera with no macro---this I intend to remedy, someday soon. I'm a veteran of the 80's in reefs, gave it up for a while, and am back in: seeing the corals not just survive but grow is neat.
The pocillopora is the subject of another post: every limb has split since I got it, and damage has repaired itself.
The montipora just astonishes me, how fast it's taking off. The growth edge has just appeared in a week, after initial dormancy.
I thought the a. cerealis hadn't grown, but it's trying to cover the epoxy at its foot.
This is one of my best, an a. yongei. The parent dates from 1997, and it is extremely vigorous, though it hasn't shown the growth of some of the others.
