some kind of hermit crab?

I picked up a cool looking crab today with sps coral growing on it's shell. It looks like a hermit crab, but I'm not sure. I could use some help. It is relativly small but not tiny, is cream colored with peach stripes, and one large claw with other small claw. When it closes up it has a "door" like some snails. Any body know what this is and if it is reef safe? Sorry I have no picture.

O.k., I have learned that it is a staghorn hermit. Can anybody tell me anything about the shell it lives in? Is it alive? Does anyone else out there have any? I saw them at fosters and smith for 25 dollars. I cant beleive I got it free thrown in with a 10 dollar star polyp frag!

These are very difficult to take care of and the shell is alive so must care for it. It will be difficult to keep if you do not have MH lights.

I dont have MH lights, but I do have PC lights @ 7 watts per gallon. Do you think that would be o.k.?
