i was looking for some rubble in my sump... i picked up a nice size piece of rock and i felt something poked my finger so i let go of the rock and i see a whitish flat worm about 2 inches long and flat with a bunch of clear prickly hairs when I looked at my finger I saw a bunch of clear hairs imbedded in my skin ... so instead of trying to catch it I went to wash it off and pull all these thing out of my finger ... after I washed off my hand I went back to try and find it but had no luck it disappeared ... so from the description could anyone tell me what it could be? bad or good?

Thanks
Ben

its a good worm for some and not for others. bristle worm is the description i get. they eat fish fecies and keep the sand sifted. REEF-ON!!!

thanks guys.... my finger feels fine only one bristle broke the skin and its not burning so i don't think its a fireworm... im gonna try a worm trap maybe i can catch it just to id it then if its beneficial ill let it go back if not then its getting flushed

Thanks
Ben

Throw it in the trash-I'm not too sure about flushing live marine organisms (or dead ones) when we live so close to the ocean =)
