So I am still a DSLR newbie but I am starting to get a hang of it. I am starting to get the white balance figured out. So in most of my pictures I am getting "true colors". The problem I am still having is getting reds & purples to show up. The last pics was a brown out when I got it, it is now has a bright purple base and bright yellow/greenish polpys. But I can not get this color to show up. any tips?

Also most of these were shot under T-5 attnics, with no flash using a Cannon Rebel 6.3 MP and promaster 70-300 Lens. Also these were shot without a tripod. Thanks Again for looking and advice. Tim

Let me know what you think.

My number 1 suggestion is to use a tripod. It will allow you to take sharper pics as well as use a longer exposure.
