Yeah, it's a long story, but we're on the road to recovery.

1. new bulbs for t5's
2. phosban reactor
3. clean up crew reinforcements
4. massive water changes
5. Use of SAT (live bacteria that starve out HA)

I'm tracking progress on another thread.;)

Do you have enough flow/turnover? I had a worse algea problem than what your tank looks like and when i added two more phs and made my turnover rate like 35-40/hr it all went away in like 3 weeks.

Just my 2 cents.

Very pretty zoa's. Your placement of corals and rockwork looks really nice. I bet its hard for you not to just sit and stare at your pretty tank. :)

hey where do you buy that red hairy algae stuff???
:D

lol

just kidding - your tank will look GREAT when you get that hair algae under control - i like that little wall looking section on the lower right side of the pic - be sure to let us see the after pics once your new 'crew' has taken care of all that hair algae.

regards

Thanks for the compliments.

I forgot to list among my remedies that I installed a vortech
magnetic pump to nuke the few "dead" spots I had flow
wise.
