Yesterday was the day when I decide to reaquascape and change some things around. Here are a couple of shots. I still am learning how to use my canon, so bear with me.

Whoaaa... wickedly cool! Love the zoas under the moonlights.

Very nice collection you have going there. :)

Mark - How do you like the Maristar? I've heard a lot of good things about their fixtures.

Your superman is nice. I could never get mine that red and blue.

I love my maristar. I have the giesemann 12.5 bulbs and the actinic+ t5's. Do you have the diagnostics on those bulbs as well. I liked the diagrams that you posted yesterday. Thanks

I love Giesemann products. They're very high quality. The 12.5k is their 'Coral' bulb, right? That should be just pure white, maybe a slight yellow tint.

That is correct. It is the coral bulb. I might go up to the 14.5 next time around. I did not know much about bulbs, so I went with a great german product.
How do you read the graph? What do the spikes represent?

The 14.5k is their 'Marine' bulb, and will basically just be a crisp white. Maybe a tiny bit of blue. The Giesemann 12.5 and 14.5 are probably similar to the Ushio 10 and 14.

The nanometers are at the bottom. Going left to right would be ultraviolet, purple, blue, green, orange, red.

Karl- Have you ever used their bulbs? What are you crrently running? They also make a 22k. I think that will be a little too blue for me.

The Giesemann kelvin ratings are really exaggerated compared to other bulbs. I've used their Megachrome Blue, and I'd describe it as being somewhere in between the AB10K and the Phoenix 14K. Not very blue at all.

That is what I am looking for. I want something a little more blue, but not lose all the trueness.

The third is a frag I got from YR about 3 weeks ago. Its either a tort or a austera. The 9th is a blue tort.
