I would mess with your white balance a little more to bring out the colors. Looks too yellow to me. Good pics though.

i like them to be a bit more contrast... darken the darks and probably overall drop the exposure by 1/4... or less.

what post-processing did you do? what software?

Compositionally, the third one is the one i like the most... the first is a bit cluttered and the second i'm distracted by the moving bits in the water... (tip, turn off your pumps and return pump before shooting.)

Great start!! In the first image try to keep the foreground in focus as the eye is always being pulled to the OOF coral on the left hand side.

Love the second image. You could set you black level to the darkest spot on the image...top right corner, then clean up the floating debris with a healing brush. What PP software are you using?
Like Hookup said, turn off those pumps.

Maybe just my eyes but I cant find a focus point in the third.

Great start. Tweak the WB a little, clean them up and watch your focusing.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the feedback. I agree white balance is off. I have attached a hopefully better WB full shot and another cropped one. As to stats, the shots were taken at either f9, f10 or f11, the one below was shot at f11. All pumps were off, may have been some shmutz on the glass I missed when I cleaned. I used Photoshop to process but I am even newer at PS then at macro photography. All I did was set WB and crop. Need to figure out how to set black level and use the healing brush those are new ones for me, I will experiment tonight

Also attached the original jpg version of the 3rd shot WB is off on that too. I am shooting with a Canon 450D and has it set to give me RAW and JPG images. The 3rd shot is the camera JPG

looking better!! Do I have your permission to edit the first photo. Do a white balance and a black level on it?

Feel free. Would love to see what it could look like if I had pp skills

Thank you. I took the image resized it to 800 on the long side...I think it was already there. In levels I set the white level to the rocks on the right and I then set the black level to a darker area of the picture.

With the healing brush I got rid of the debris in the water and any bits of rock that were barely visible after I set the black point... and then I used the smart sharpen to sharpen it up a bit.
for the blue border
Duplicated the image and on the duplicate layer, right clicked for the blending properties...down to the bottom, selected stroke...set the stroke to INSIDE, colored it blue left it at 3pixels wide then flattened the image

Hope you like.
