Some new supplements.

Hey all

I recently made an order from Bulk Reef Supply and - for whatever the reason - I got a bunch of free stuff in the box with my order!! I ordered the foundations skeletal ABC+ and some kh buffer.

They threw in all the supplements in the attached pic. My tank is great, mostly sps, the only issue I have had is some red slime / cyano that I can't get rid of.

Does anyone have any experience with these supplements? Are they worth using ? Would any help with the cyano issue?

I don't work for BRS, i have no affiliation with them. Just asking about some freebies.

Thanks all !
Brandon.

That’s an awesome freebie. I got a $10 off code with mine.

Anyway, I’ve never used any of their products. But I’ve heard good things with microbactr (some people dose it regularly, others just use it to help cycle new tanks). The neophos and neonitro I believe are to dose phosphate and nitrate respectively. Cheato gro helps macros. Coral amino I’m sure is similar to other amino based products. Microbial culture…I have no idea on. (The above is without researching the products).

That said, brightwell is generally a respected company from my understanding. I’m not sure any of those will help with your Cyano issue unless you have bottomed out nutrients (the neophos and neonitro) (that’s if that’s the issue causing the Cyano).

I dose neophos and neonitro to keep my phos and nitrates above 0.. i've also used the microbacter in the past to treat cyano and its worked really well. Great line of products. The amino just another amino supplement similar to AB+ or acropower

Did you just follow the directions on the bottle microbacter and did you use it specifically to treat cyano?

I use microbacter on and off just to add bacteria.

During my horrible cyano battle, I tried using it in the Coral Snow method. It really cleared up the water but, didn't have a lasting affect on the cyano.
