An old time scraggler back on the boards. Been SUPER busy in the past 2 years so pretty scant on the boards. I'm moving my office and upgrading my 75gal to a 120. Been snooping around here getting some ideas and decided to pop over to the this area and see what's up :). Cheers guys - Louis

Some images for the office waiting area. Going to go a different route and do B&W. ANy of you guys do much B&W? I read about metallic prints but think i might go over the top and have it done on real metal or a true B&W print onto Illford paper. Open to hear what you guys know about these methods.

Would you believe I got into RC cars after taking up Airbrushing! Just what I needed, 2 other hobbies! The ONLY stickers on both those trucks are the tail lights. ALL the rest is painted!

they are fun as heck though!

Last Dec - Fresh powder!

Shoot, I don't have anything else real recent on Photobucket. Check out the office FB page for some recent stuff (like some cute baby moose calves, the Iditarod, and some snow flake macros!). Might as well "like" us while your there too :).

Hey Louis. Nice to hear from you.

More pictures please. I particularly enjoy your pictures which feature Alaskan wildlife, scenery and the aurora borealis.

I did a ton of black and white many years ago when I was developing my own negatives and doing my own prints. For me, there are times when it can add beautifully to the artistic moment. These days it can seem, imho, like yet another trite filter overemployed by those trying to create visual interest in their otherwise boring image.

Ha, you mean like these two youngsters :). I've put most of my shots up on facebook (link in 1st post) but really I have a lot of images I haven't even processed. Too dang busy for better or worse.

Man, you two guys are some of the only names I recognize on here now. I started a build thread the other day and someone linked me to an old thread. It was from 2007 and the funny thing was I had posted in it, in 2007! Jeeze time sure does fly!
