Wow. I can honestly say it never gets any easier to hear things like this from people when you've been through it or something similar yourself. I lost many (most) of my favorite colonies a couple of years ago in a similar situation. You do rebuild, and things do get better, but there'll always be that colony or two you miss the most. 
I'm an occasional ETRC lurker, having lived most of my life in East Tennessee, but living now way down on the coast in Alabama. I am going to be going to Knoxville next week to check on my house in Seymour, and would be most happy to bring you some frags if you're ready. I have few colonies getting some good size and can be fragged. If you're interested, pm me and I can let you know what I have and see if there's anything you might want.
