How can you possibly get pics like that with the kodak? I have the same camera and cant even come close to matching those. Please help.

David, Use your camera in PASM Mode then go to your menu and select white balance--Daylight
ISO---100
Color Mode ---saturated color
Exposure Metering-- Center Weight.
Focus zone---Center Zone

Then in macro mode place the camera lens right in front of the subject, right up against the glass.
Press your button down halfway to focus, once you get the green light finish pressing the button to take the picture.
This is how I do it.
Not every picture comes out the way you want it. I still only get one out of fifteen that I like.
