some of my latest macro shots

Great shots with an eye to the contrast of the subject and its background - an artistic approach to a common element (not to mention impeccable sharpness and good color balance). Me like. Keep 'em coming.

Very nice shots! I thought I would have to get the 180 for that amount of sharpness. That 100 is surprising. Well done.

Argo, thank you for your appreciation and comments.

frames, as i said earlier in this post, are generated with CS3... very easy to do.

yesterday, i stopped at the public aquarium, in Paris (France)
i only took pictures of fishes ... quite hard as the tanks in there are not as lit as every ones tank.

1 - Ctenochaetus hawaiiensis and Centropyge loriculus getting into a fight

GORGEOUS!!! Man these are some great pics!

Two questions:

Do you mind sharing the exif data for these last set of fish shots?

Do you have an PS action you would share with me for these frames? :D

hello RevHtree,
sorry for answering so late!
right now, i don't have the Raw file with me so i can't give you the exifs you request but all of those pictures were taken either with the Canon 300 f4 L IS USM or the Canon 24-70 f2.8
those shots were taken in quite dark tanks and it was difficult to obtain the right shutter speed for those fishes.

more of them ;)

overall, the most difficult thing i had to cope with while being there, was screaming kids in front of tanks ... next time i will bring ear plugs
