You do not need a light as fancy as I have I just happened to find a 3 pack of these lighet for 14.00 at Big Lots. I also cut the foam block that the tank comes with at a 45 degree angle and use that to keep the light from shining in to the tank at night. I run the refugium light opposite my tank light sechedule.

Looks good. I have LED lights back there so there isnt a heat issue.

Are you planning on making both areas a fuge or just the middle?

What did you use to cut the back? I am thinking of cutting the walls between the back chambers to increase flow. Looks good.
