the second one and the last one were taken with the 24-70 f2.8 ... the two other ones with the 100 f2.8 macro.

What is that rather interesting last coral??? I've never seen anything like it.

Just a pinch more DOF if possible....maybe like 1 more stop. But great light and color on the exposures.

Looks like a Dendronepthya to me, although I may have botched the spelling.

I like the shots a lot, but I guess you guys are right in that it needs just a bit more DOF (first shot mainly). Still, each one is frame-worthy to me. :thumbsup:

regarding the lack of DOF on the first picture, i kind of like it the way it is ... it makes them "unreal" ...

the first pictures i posted were taken with the 400D ;)
the three last one with the 40D ... it was my first try with this new body ... and i like it :p

you need to come to my house and take some pics of my corals u have some awesome photography skills i wish i could capture my tank like u do yours! nice work

I agree 100%. I wouldn't change a thing in any of the shots. If you need to see more of the corals you can simply browse some of the vendors websites. These shots are all about art, and subjects are beatiful and presented in a way that you don't allways see them in your tank. ;)
