Really quite nice. I find the off level horizon in the first one a little distracting myself. Maybe crop to level it?

Image #1 bothers me and I couldn't express why. IPT, you nailed it. It's the off level horizon.

Interesting style. I find myself thinking about it which is a good thing.

I like the "feel" of those images. What are you doing in the post processing?

There really isn't much to critique about. I'm with IPT about the processing. I know for a fact I wont come close, and possibly never will be able to touch your work.

I'm shooting with a Nikon D50
I learned this technique from a Train photographer
Its called HDR "HIgh Dynamic Range" Its basically
three or more photographs shot at different Exposures
-2, 0, +2 and so on. I do my Post processing in a program
called Photomatix its amazing how the tone mapping gives
the image a almost 3D Paint look!

ahh yes, we had a thread about HDR images a while ago. Didn't recognize it for what it was. I do like the look thpugh. I actually looked att eh program too. Was that the free one? I know some one recomended one that was free.

Photomatix Pro3 Runs about $99 There are a lot
of discount codes from people with HDR tutorials on the web.
Photoshop CS Has a HDR Merge you can do the same thing
but the tone mapping is not the same. I us Bit Torrents ;0)

Ok, how does the photomatix program work? u have these 3 pics, underexposed, overexposed and normal. do u superpose them in the program or what do you do. I am very new at this so bear with me

You have to merge them in the program then you
have to tone map them, this is the tricky part.
takes a lot of practise look on you tube lots of good
tutorials on it! Thanks

To each his own but I really don't care for the HDR treatment, and you REALLY need to clean your sensor.
