Lost all those for what reason??

Long story short; due to various circumstances (seen and unseen), I wasn't able to get a replacement metal halide bulb until my current one was two years old. Everything was fine until about the 1.25-1.5 year on the bulb, but after that, things started melting away FAST. I lost well over 75% of all of my corals. Luckily, many helpful local reefers took little frags for me and were able to save most of the variety that I had. Here are comparisson shots.

My 29g tank at 1 year old. Growth is great, things are good. I couldn't be happier.

Most things are really hurting and dying, but I still have stuff. A lot of the things in the picture, I still lost including the Kenya Tree. Ignore the pink surrogate "anemone" for my clowns :D

I just got back all of my frags. I've got a borrowed used bulb from a fellow reefer until mine comes in. All the frags in the sand are literally all that I have left from the first picture. I lost alot.

I got the new bulb in about a month ago, we moved, and things are finally looking great! I'm starting to get growth again on many corals.

You really can't see much in the last picture, especially since most frags are still in the sand. But, if you look close enough you might see a few Montipora, Ricordea, Toadstool, and Star Polyps all over the aquascaping. All my Zoas are in the sand still. I don't want to get them knocked over and lost in the rockwork.
