Hey - I am the wifey. I'm offended by this ;)

Normally I just don't tell the hubby how much I really spent :D
So I guess you do the bills.:D

I also do the bills so if we run low on money I just say that alot of bliis come due that I had to pay.

and sometimes I just right out lie about how much something costs:rolleye1:
I bought the 3rd julian sprung book. he didnt even ask how much it costs. and I'm an expert at peeling off price tags.

I think he believes me because he says things like "you always get better deals at the LFS, maybe its because your a woman"

Tell you the truth i give all my money to her she gives me a 20 dollar allowance(help quit smoking) I just tell her to buy it and be honest becuz the wife's arn't dumb. IMO....:)

Well, this is interesting, you seem to be getting more attention from "wifey" than you are from "hubby" with this thread. :)

I am not wifey myself yet, but I find the bf does interogate me sometimes about new items and what they cost. Since our finances are not connected at this point, I make my own good money and know how to spend it, I don't feel like I need to justify everything yet. When in doubt, I keep large items in the cabinet, what he doesn't know won't hurt him. :) Since he's not into aquariums, he doesn't notice half the time. I think I'd be more forthcoming if we shared household expenses.

LOL....

I often save my alloted spending money and pay cash. He has no idea where the money went. I don't know where his alloted spending money goes either (golf, lunch, etc)
