Very cool! What kind of clam is that? Looks like a squamosa? If so, that sucker will get large rapidly. I purchased mine about 2 yrs. ago at 5 inches and has already more than doubled in size and is outgrowing my 125g tank. Also, that looks like a candy hog. Is he a good citizen? Nice job.

Man...That is a really cool looking Montipora. Never seen that color variety before...Is it really white? Or is it a pale yellow.

the clam is a Derasa, and yea it was tiny and i mean like 1/3 the size about a year ago!

the wrasse was labled "twin spot yellow" at RS and no its agressive sob. Its his tank, every new addition other than snail or crab with tough shell or coral gets shreaded to pieces. (not even exadurating)

same here Scott, never seen anyone have the same kind. Its more like pale neon green tint like some white acros get. It has huge polyps I am often wondering if its a monty. Its very unusual.

Nice, Eugene.
Derasa are called the "smooth shelled" giant clam.
It looks like yours has scutes.
Squamosa are known as the "scaly" giant clam.
From the pics it looks like you have a squamosa.

Looks good!
It looks like you have a bit of camera shake. Are you using a tripod? It helps a ton. 2nd turn your pumps off, the more still the image the better. Most of all just keep clicking the shutter... for amateurs, there's a few quality shots in a high quantity of shots and with digital just keep shootin'

If you don't have a tripod you can steady the camera by gently pressing it against the aquarium glass or other steady object (like a wall or chair).
